Golygfeydd o’r Pla Du by Chris Harris
Tuesday 23 May 7.30pm (BSL)
Cynhyrchiad Theatrau Sir Gâr Production
1348, Pentreufargirec. A new chaos has arrived – Plague. God has betrayed the people, and a frenzy of finger-pointing, cat-hunting and heretic-burning has drowned the village in the toilet. To con-artist Twm, everything is ripe for the picking. With people dying, there’s a social ladder to climb. But under the rule of a Tax Collector desperately searching for love, and a revolutionary manure-seller spreading free-thinking amongst the peasantry, Twm will realise that the climb to power has its obstacles.
A mischievous, black (death) comedy of crisis and corruption. Welcome to the Black Death – there’s nothing funnier. Written and directed by Chris Harris, this is a Theatrau Sir Gâr Production, funded by the Arts Council of Wales, and supported by Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru.
This is a Welsh language production, suitable for ages 14+ (contains strong language, themes of death, illness, comic gore, sarcastic humour and very fluffy puppets). Sibrwd, the Welsh language access app, will be available at every performance – more details below.
The performance will be BSL interpreted by Cathryn McShane-Kouyaté
Sibrwd
In each performance, Sibrwd – Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru’s language access app – will be available to guide the audience through the story, whatever their level of fluency in Welsh. By means of a voice in the ear, the app conveys in English what is being said on the stage, and is available for the audience to use with their own mobile phone and earphones.

Saturday 27 May 11.30am & 2.30pm
“In 2023, a crack amphibian plumbing unit was locked up by a clammy court for a contamination crime they didn’t commit. These frogs promptly escaped from a maximum security slimy slammer to the city sewers. Today, still wanted by the gungy government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a pollution problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them….maybe you can hire FROGS IN BOGS.”
Join Frogs in Bogs, the superhero frog plumbers, to crack a clogging crime and defeat the evil Cwac Tŷ Bach in Familia’s new, hilarious, all-jumping, all-dancing, blockbusting show for all the family.
Bilingual show suitable for all ages
Supported by Arts Council of Wales
Theatr Bryn Terfel
Coleg Menai – Made in Dagenham
24 May, 7pm
25 May, 2pm + 7pm
Inspired by a true story and based on the hit movie, Made in Dagenham is the uplifting British musical comedy about friendship, love and the importance of fighting for what is right.
Essex 1968. Like millions of other working women, each morning Rita O’Grady is just trying to get her husband out of bed, get the kids off to school and get to work at the factory on time. But life is about to change forever when it’s announced that the girls in the stitching room of Ford’s Dagenham car plant will have their pay grade dropped to ‘unskilled’. Quickly drawing on a strength she never knew she had, Rita leads her friends in a battle against the might of Ford and the corruption of the Union supposed to protect them. As the girls’ inspiring journey gets bigger than anyone could have imagined, the pressure is too much for some, but can Rita keep up the fight and the happy home she’s worked so hard for?
Funny, touching and timeless with some amazing songs, Made in Dagenham shows how ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they stand together.
*The show contains strong language*
