Cabaret Pontio presents Mared Williams a’r Band

This Christmas, join Mared Williams and band in Theatr Bryn Terfel as they bring warmth and joy to our Cabaret Pontio nights!
Mared, a well-known artist here in Wales, reached the final’s of Cân i Gymru with Byw a Bod in 2018, and former lead vocalist and pianist for Brwydr y Bandiau winners, Trŵbz. In November 2017 Mared released her first EP, Noises in the Night, followed by Christmas single, Dolig Dan y Lloer. Two singles were released from her debut original album, in 2019, Dal ar y Teimlad and Y Reddf.
Having performed in the West End in Les Misèrables, The Sondheim Theatre as a member of the ensemble and second cover, a member of Welsh of the West End, Welsh Language Album of the Year winner in 2021 with Y Drefn, and having performed with BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Band Pres Llareggub and many more. Don’t miss the opportunity to see Mared live, for a sublime night of music with a full band this Christmas.

Imagine a world without colour…
The friends in GWYN lead a simple and organised life. They live in a white tent and care for the birdhouses that surround them. Every day, the friends work diligently to ensure that their beautiful and organised world remains gleaming and white.
But, how will the friends react when they see colour for the very first time? Red… then yellow… then blue…
Theatre for young children at its best, this is a magical show that has touched audiences all over the world.

LANGUAGE
Lliwia is a Welsh language show but it is particularly suitable and accessible for young audiences and learners because itt is very light on words. A useful vocabulary pack will be provided pre-show.
All performances are naturally relaxed so please don’t worry about keeping your little ones quiet.
This means that you can:
- Leave & re-enter at any time – there’s no such thing as a latecomer!
- Move around or make noise
- Eat or drink during the show

Caffi Babis at Pontio, Bangor

Caffi Babis is a new session for new parents and their babies.
This is a creative hour with Siwan Llynor and Angharad Harrop that gives new parents the opportunity to meet other parents, as well as to relax with your baby for a while. An hour to bring parents together, in a safe space. Each session will last around 45 minutes, with the opportunity to have a chat afterwards.
The session is most suitable for children up to 24 months; however, older children are welcome to join.
