Weather warnings have been issued for Gwynedd, with heavy rain and thunderstorms forecast over the weekend.
Rain is forecast for today Thursday (5 August) with weather warnings issued from 04:00 hrs on Friday 6 August To 23:59 hrs on Fri 6 August and from 04:00 hrs on Saturday 7 August To 23:59 hrs on Sat 7 August.
The Met Office have warned that Heavy, slow-moving showers, some thundery, may cause travel disruption and flooding in a few places.

– There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds

Friday
Tomorrow morning will be mostly cloudy with further showers in places. The showers will largely ease later in the afternoon and a few sunny spells will develop. A moderate to fresh westerly wind.

Saturday will be breezy with frequent and heavy showers for many throughout the day. Sunday will continue to be breezy and after a relatively dry start, it will then turn unsettled with heavy showers and thunderstorms. Monday will have further heavy and thundery showers, but with a few sunny spells as well.
