Tributes paid to ’Chuckle Brother’ Barry

Tributes have been paid to Barry Chuckle, one half of the comedy duo the Chuckle Brothers, who has died aged 73 after a short period of illness.

The children’s entertainer, whose real name was Barry Elliott, starred in “Chuckle Vision” with his brother Paul on the BBC between 1987 and 2009. The brothers recently returned with a new TV show “Chuckle Time“ on Channel 5.

In January this year the comedy pair entertained crowds at Cube Nightclub in Bangor and enjoyed a meet and greet session with locals and students
