Psychology students from Bangor University recently held a bake-off competition to raise money for Gwynedd & Môn Headway, a non-profit organisation supporting brain injury survivors and their families/carers.
Students created some spectacular creations, which were judged by Richard ‘Pwdin’ Holt, pastry chef at the Marram Grass restaurant on Anglesey.
Impressed by the student’s baking skills, Richard said: “There are some unbelievable bakers in the School of Psychology, well done to all who took part.”
The overall winner was PhD student Rhi Wilmott, who said: “I’m very happy to have won, and pleased to be supporting such a worthy cause, it was an excellent event!”
The cakes were then sold, raising a total of £228.09 for Headway Gwynedd & Môn.
