Staff at the Next Store in Bangor, North Wales, have recently taken part in ‘Walk 100 Miles in May’ to help ‘Breast Cancer Now’ fund their world-class research and life-changing care for anyone affected by breast cancer.
During May this year the staff walked a fantastic 100 miles each, raising £1060 so far, with donations still coming in. An incredible achievement from the team and great result for the charity
A member of the staff from Next said: “The coronavirus outbreak represents an unprecedented situation for all of us, but this continues to be an extremely difficult and uncertain time for so many people affected by breast cancer.
“Since March 2020, Breast Cancer Now have had to suspend hundreds of their life-changing community support events and courses – taking away a key lifeline for thousands of people. Whilst their incredible researchers lost around 230,000 hours of precious time in their labs last year because of the coronavirus.
“They need our support, now more than ever. By sponsoring my Walk 100 Miles you can help change the future of breast cancer.”
