Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd are proud to be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support on their special Macmillan night on the 18th December 2020.

 

Between 7-8pm, there will be a local dedicated Macmillan Cancer Support show with Yvonne Gallienne and Sarah Wynn Griffiths highlighting the invaluable work of local Specialist Palliative Care Macmillan Nurse, Manon Jones and active Macmillan Fundraiser and Ambassador Ali Alcock.

 

Between 8-9pm, there will be a star-studded national Macmillan Cancer Support show with guests including Joanna Lumley, Stephen Fry and Alexander Armstrong.

Patients can listen to Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd’s special Macmillan Cancer Support shows by their bedsides in Ysbyty Gwynedd. Listeners outside the Hospital can tune in online on:

The Hospital Radio Station have been broadcasting since 1976 and have also been broadcasting online since the beginning of this year.

Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd will be announcing new presenters and new shows in the new year.

The hospital radio are keeping patients company during this difficult time. Presenters of the Radio Station are broadcasting ‘The Happy Hour’ shows every night 8-9pm to help

families and friends get their messages of love and support to those receiving NHS care. Radio Ysbyty Gwynedd’s presenters will share messages for your loved ones on their shows.
