North Wales Police have sent a clear message to drug dealers “if you want to deal drugs, don’t come to Bangor.”
The Neighbourhood Policing Team have had a “great seven days of crime-fighting in Bangor” according to Detective Inspector Dafydd Curry.
Police have executed six search warrants in Bangor during the last week , which resulted in:
- 2 men arrested for possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
- One man arrested concerned in supply and recalled to prison.
- Arrest of a man from Merseyside on Bangor mountain for possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin. Cash recovered.
- The following day, a warrant at an address in Park Street- 5 people arrested, large amounts of class A confirmed as crack and heroin.
- A full 3 month closure order granted by the courts on a property on Penchwintan Road Bangor
- British Transport Police arrest of a local man at Bangor train station for drugs offences and recalled to prison.
- Presentation to Youth Justice service on what county lines is, the signs and how they can identify vulnerable people and report to us.

DS Dafydd Curry said: “The message is clear – if you want to deal drugs, don’t come to Bangor. We’ll take your supply, your cash, and we’ll also take your liberty.
