Police have been targeting individuals suspected of street dealing on Caernarfon Road in Bangor.
Following reports from members of the public officers have been monitoring the area and using stop and search powers.
In a bid to tackle the problem, police have asked for anyone with information to report their concerns.
A Facebook Post from North Wales Police Gwynedd North, said: “We are aware of local concerns of alleged street drug dealing on Caernarfon Road, Bangor.
“Using stop and search powers, officers have been the targeting individuals.
“Neighbourhood tasking officers are also working with our partners.
“We act on information and intelligence we receive from the public. Clearly we need to balance our resources to respond to the 101 and 999 calls. Our officers cover a wide area and unfortunately we cannot always be at this location.
“The more information we receive (and we are grateful for the information we received on Caernarfon Road) we can effectively resource our visibility.
“We are working with our partners for a longer term solution to seek housing, health and social solutions.
