Two North Wales Police Officers have been commended for saving a high risk missing person, who was threatening to take his own life by jumping off Britannia Bridge.
PC Gerallt Williams and PC Liam Morris, who are both based at the Llandegai base in Bangor, have now been officially recognised for their actions.
The officers have been given a Superintendent’s Commendation after pursuing the high risk missing person who had threatened to take his own life. Both officers worked together to bring the high-pressured pursuit to a conclusion, ending on the Britannia Bridge.
Both officers managed to grab hold of the man before he jumped and both are commended for their dedication to duty and professionalism.
