North Wales Police have continued their drug enforcement work in Bangor after they served a 3 month closure order granted by the courts, on a property on Penchwintan Road.
Earlier this week North Wales officers, in partnership with North West Regional Organised Crime Unit and British Transport Police conducted six search warrants and carried out patrols and stop searches in and around Bangor.
Significant amounts of cash, drugs and weapons, including a ‘knuckle duster’ and a hammer, have been seized. In total there have been nine arrests for drug supply offences this week.
Detective Sergeant Dafydd Curry said: “This again demonstrates that we will use a range of tactics and legislation to protect residents from crime and anti-social behaviour, in pursuing those that are intent on causing harm.
“Thanks to the community for working with us, if you give us the information, we’ll do the rest.”
