Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was seriously injured following a road traffic collision in Bangor yesterday afternoon (Sunday, August 15th).

 

At 2:25pm North Wales Police received a report that a motorcycle had collided with a parked vehicle on Trem Elidir.

The emergency services attended and the motorcyclist, who is aged in his 20’s, was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor but has since been transferred to hospital in Stoke with life threatening injuries.

Temporary Sergeant Liam Morris of the Roads Policing Unit is appealing for any witnesses to come forward. He said: “I’d like to thank all those who have already contacted us, however we continue to urge anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have seen the motorcyclist just prior to the collision to come forward.”
