The countdown to one of the biggest events in North Wales has officially begun, as Bangor Summer Festival unveils its first two headline acts for 2025 – and they’re not just good… they’re phenomenal.
On Saturday, 16th August 2025, this free, full-day festival will welcome Fearlessly Taylor, one of the UK’s most celebrated Taylor Swift tribute artists, alongside Oasish – est 1995, the UK’s longest-established Oasis tribute band.
These are arena-level acts – and Bangor’s getting them for absolutely no ticket cost.
FEARLESSLY TAYLOR – FOR THE SWIFTIES WHO NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE
Taylor Swift fans, it’s time to break out the glitter, grab your friendship bracelets, and assemble your era-inspired outfits. Fearlessly Taylor is bringing a spectacular, arena-style tribute show to Bangor – and you’re invited to live it, scream it, and sing it all with her.
From “Cruel Summer” and “Style” to “You Belong With Me” and “Bejeweled” this is a full-throttle tribute to the global superstar that promises emotional highs, singalong moments, and Swiftie joy from start to finish. And yes – it’s completely free to attend.
Bangor Summer Festival is giving fans an experience many venues charge upwards of £30 a ticket for – and doing it in style.
OASISH – EST 1995 – BRITPOP, BACK WITH ATTITUDE
Oasis are back in the headlines with their reunion tour and stadium prices to match – but in Bangor, you can relive the glory days of Britpop with the band that’s been keeping the Oasis spirit alive since 1995.
Oasish – est 1995 don’t just perform the songs – they embody the swagger, sound, and style of one of Britain’s biggest-ever rock bands. They’re the real deal – long-time favourites on the tribute scene who’ve built a loyal following across the UK.
Expect every massive anthem – “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Live Forever,” “Roll With It,” and yes, “Wonderwall” – all delivered with the high-energy, livewire feel of Oasis in their prime.
And they’ll be closing the night with a full headline set as Bangor Summer Festival draws to an epic finale.

The festival is also part of Bangor’s 1500th anniversary year celebrations, bringing added pride and buzz to the occasion.

After her headline performance, Fearlessly Taylor will be staying to meet fans, pose for photos, and trade friendship bracelets – a heartfelt nod to Swiftie tradition.
And for those who want to get fully into the spirit, a special warm-up event will take place in Bangor the week before the festival, featuring a friendship bracelet-making workshop so young fans can create something extra special to give to “Taylor” in person.
