Nathan Broadhead has donated one of his Wales shirts to support a local Dementia Service.

The Bangor-born, Ipswich Town and Wales Striker is donating his shirt from the Cymru v Gibraltar game, which took place at Cae Ras, Wrecsam on 11 October.

Nathan, who scored a brilliant goal in the 4-0 win, supported  efforts to raise money for Dementia Actif Gwynedd earlier this year by becoming the proud owner of the latest Bangor Comrades shirt.

A spokesperson from Bangor Comrades said: “In an absolutely fantastic gesture Nathan sent us his Cymru shirt after the Gibraltar game and asked if we could raise more money for the charity through its sale.

“The money raised by this exclusive international shirt will be added to the £1270 raised for the service by the Comrades classic Bangor top.”

Dementia Actif Gwynedd is a Gwynedd Council project which supports people living with dementia and their carers to promote an enriched quality of life through physical activity.

To put in a bid for the shirt, which will be signed by Nathan, contact Bangor Comrades on Facebook via a private message. They will update the current bid anonymously as each one is received. Bidding will close at noon on Saturday 25 November.

Remember, every penny raised from the winning bid will go to Dementia Actif Gwynedd. The current bid stands at £275
