Yes Cymru, the movement for an independent Wales, has confirmed the next march for independence will take place in Bangor on 23 September, 2023.

With the latest polling indicating support for an independent Wales at 34%, and following the success of the March for Independence in Swansea earlier this year, where over 7,000 marched for an independent Wales, this forthcoming march aims to further galvanise the movement for an independent Wales.

Supporters are invited to gather at Glanrafon Car Park from 12pm onwards, with the march officially starting at 1pm. Marchers are encouraged to bring flags, banners, whistles, drums, and, above all, their family and friends.

Our independence marches have been going from strength to strength in recent years, and with support growing, there is a strong possibility that this march will be the biggest yet. Taking our demands for independence to a city like Bangor for the first time will send a clear message to the rest of Wales, Westminster and beyond that we are serious about our cause, and the only way to secure our future generations is for the Wales to take care of its own affairs.

The march will take a route through Bangor city centre and return to Glanrafon car park for speeches and some entertainment.

The weekend will also include several fringe events which will be announced in due course, and an indy Market, where you’ll have the opportunity to buy and interact with several pro-indy companies and organisations.

As usual, buses are being organised from all over Wales, details of which will be confirmed in due course.
