Five properties have been raided in Bangor this morning in a large police operation which is targeting ‘county lines’ drug dealers.
Around 40 police officers are involved in the operation, they are being supported by armed police, drug dogs and drones.
Five people have been arrested and a closure order has been issued on a property on James Street in Bangor and a property on College Road in upper Bangor has been targeted.
Police are aiming to protect vulnerable people from drug dealers ‘cuckooing’ in their properties, they are also conducting stop searches and placing closure orders on properties in the city.
