A giant Wales bucket hat has arrived in Bangor, with fans encouraged to come along and take a selfie!

The bucket hat has become a symbol of Welsh footballing culture and the giant hats, which measure ten feet by ten, have appeared across the country, including Swansea, Cardiff, Wrexham and Caernarfon, during the World Cup in Qatar.

Sporting the iconic yellow, red and green colours, the giant replica has been placed outside Storiel in Bangor, where it will remain for the next few weeks.

The hats are part World Cup celebration from the Football Association of Wales of the men’s team qualifying for the World Cup for the first time since 1958.

Despite Wales’ early exit from the competition, the giant bucket hat will serve as brilliant attraction for people to have their photos taken and share them on social media.
