A drink driver, who was nearly three times over the legal limit, was arrested on Saturday after driving along the A55 without a wheel.
Police were alerted by a member of the public after a silver Saab was seen travelling on the A55 at Penmaenmawr, where the vehicle collided with a wall and lost a wheel.
North Wales Police Roads Policing Unit along with the North Wales Police Intercept Team pursued the Saab, stopping the driver at Llanfairfechan, where he was arrested and his vehicle seized.
Police said: “The male driver of the Saab is currently in custody after providing a roadside breath test reading of 103mg (legal driving limit is 35).”
