Arch Angelz Limited, which operated the “beauty bar” in Debenhams stores, has gone into administration, putting 120 jobs at risk.
The Swansea-based beauty company was established in 2008 and operated 31 concessions in Debenhams stores, seven of the concessions are in Wales, including Bangor, with others in England.
Administrators Quantuma had tried to find a buyer but was unsuccessful and said a ’significant decline’ in the retail sector was the cause of the companies problems.
A statement read: “This will be a difficult time for staff in the period leading up to Christmas and it is our priority to assist all employees with their claims while conducting an orderly wind down of the business and seeking to maximise the recovery for creditors.”
