Bangor Tandoori Restaurant has won the ‘Curry House of the Year Award’ at the 2024 National Curry Awards (NCA).
The fifth annual National Curry Awards took place on 21 October and the winners were announced at a glittering ceremony in London at the House of Lords, where the award was presented by the Lord Mayor of Westminster City Councillor Robert Rigby and Esther McVey MP.
The prestigious event honours the contributions of chefs, restaurateurs, and businesses who have played a vital role in the UK’s curry and Asian catering industries. The NCA also celebrates the rich culinary heritage and vibrant community within the culinary community industry.
Bangor Tandoori has been serving delicious food at the heart of Bangor High Street since 2016, and employs eight full-time and four part-time staff. Bangor Tandoori owner Mustakim Raza, said: “We are beyond proud and honoured to announce that Bangor Tandoori has won the prestigious Curry House of the Year 2024 award at the National Curry Awards, held at the House of Lords, Westminster London.
