Bangor will be transformed on Sunday 15th December when over 60 stalls will arrive on the High Street and in the Deiniol Shopping Centre.
Come along and enjoy a family day out through the Christmas Markets and be entertained all day, full of magical festive Christmas Spirit in Bangor city centre. Visit Santa in his grotto, meet his reindeer, enjoy the funfair, there’s so much to do for everyone.
The Christmas Market, 9am-5pm, will be the perfect opportunity to pick up some unusual and unique gifts, enjoy everything from cakes and bakes to national and international street food from one of the many vendors and there will even be a cocktail bar set up in the Deiniol Centre.
Entertainment
Tan Y Fynwent (Adjacent to the main bus stops near Bangor High Street) will be transformed into a fun and interactive area for families to bring the Christmas cheer to Bangor.
The entertainment starts a 10am through until 4pm and will include:
- All Day DJ Santa
- Ffynci Jync with their ‘Junk Percussion workshops’ by Colin Daimond
- Street Dance Acts & Singers from Academi Westend Academy
- Elsa from Frozen meet & greet
- Elf on the Shelf meet & greet
- Capoiera Mocambo Performance
- Face painting
- Festive Forrest of magic with Santa’s reindeer
- Children Fun Fair Rides
Santa’s Grotto
A Christmas celebration wouldn’t be complete without a visit from the ‘main man’ and Santa will be in his Grotto in Debenhams (next to the café) from 10am-4pm
Reindeer
Santa’s Reindeer will be at Tan Y Fynwent between 10.30am – 12.30pm & 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Deiniol Centre
The Deiniol Shopping Centre will be full of unique stalls selling local crafts and there will also be a cocktail bar to help get you in the Christmas spirit.
Free Parking
Parking in Gwynedd Council Car Parks will be Free from 14th-27th December, just in time for the Christmas market. The Deiniol Shopping Centre will also offer free parking on the day too.
Free Admission
Admission to the event will be completely free so is perfect for families, to browse, mingle and enjoy the day!
