Bangor paddling pool will open to the public from Saturday, 25 June.

There has been a considerable amount of work completed over the last month to prepare the  paddling pool for the summer months.

A spokesperson for Byw’n Iach Bangor said: “The plant room has been serviced and tested and is all working and minor damage to the paddling pool surface has now been repaired.

“The pool has been re-painted with two coats of paint, following a delay due to supply issues.

“Benches have been fixed after being vandalised and all  areas have been weeded. The surfaces have been jet-washed over the last couple of weeks and all areas look really nice

“Gwynedd Council had been contacted and were on site yesterday to cut all grass areas.

“The facility staff have a few minor areas to complete and we’re ready to open on Saturday.”

Depending on the weather it will be open more often now until the end of the Summer Holidays.

The pool will be open in line with the Swimming pool opening times – available on the Byw’n Iach website, is Free of charge to use and toilets are available.
