A man from Bangor who has made nearly 200 nuisance 999 calls to the ambulance service, has been arrested and remanded to appear in court.
North Wales Police obtained and served a community protection order against the man last week, after he made 166 emergency phone calls to the ambulance service without good cause this month alone.
Despite the order, the man has continued to make calls to the ambulance service, making a further 19 calls on the day the court order was served.
The male has now been arrested and charged with the offences and is due to appear court.
Police said: “Despite the order, the male continued to make calls to the service which as we all know are working extremely hard to cope with genuine demand.”
