Bangor 1876 have announced that an agreement has been reached with Bangor City Stadium to work in partnership in order to strengthen football in the city and enhance its impact on the local community.
A statement from the club said: “Next year will mark the 150th anniversary of the creation of the first football team in Bangor, and this partnership celebrates our proud legacy while marking an exciting new chapter for football in our city. It brings together two passionate communities with a shared vision for success, growth and community impact.
“Together, we are committed to building a club that sits at the heart of our community. We will work tirelessly to develop local talent, strengthen ties with local businesses, and create a club culture that everyone in Bangor can be proud of. Our goal is to provide opportunities for all age groups, ensuring football continues to grow and prosper in Bangor.
Based on a shared ambition to see Bangor again represented in the Cymru Premier, this partnership represents a powerful step towards seeing our city regain a place in the top tier of Welsh football.”
