Bangor Cathedral will host the annual ‘Cold Concert’ on Friday 28 February, to raise money to support homeless people in and around Bangor.

A host of entirely local talent, including choirs, bands and soloists will perform for free to raise money for the Cathedral Partnership and North Wales housing to support the homeless.

Highlights of this year’s concert will include the Bangor Community Choir, the Bangor Street Singers, The Rice Hooligan Orchestra, Meg & Neil Browning, Hopewell Ink and Cor Bro Cwyfan.

Entrance is by donation and every penny will support the homeless. Now in its sixth year, it’s called the ‘Cold Concert’ because the Cathedral is often very cold at night and the organisers ‘One Heart‘ decided to make this a feature of this, supporting people who sleep out in much lower temperatures.
