The Aldi supermarket store on Garth Road in Bangor is up for sale.
The German discount retailer is relocating from its existing store in the centre of Bangor to the site of the former Blakemore Cash & Carry on Caernarfon Road.
This current supermarket site on Garth Road is now surplus to requirements and has been put up for sale with Swift and Lamb Commercial Property for at £1,250,000 or to rent at £120,000 per annum.
The unit will be available with vacant possession in April 2022 and according to the sales agent is “suitable for a number of alternative uses subject to planning permission”.
The new store, located next to Dunelm on Caernarfon Road, is earmarked to open later this year with 10 additional jobs created.
