The Bangor Aye offers a warm welcome to Coleg Menai A Level student Chloe Roberts from Holyhead, who will collaborating with The Bangor Aye to produce news stories and articles, focussing on her fellow students and the college community.
Chloe approached The Bangor Aye recently about the possibility of writing some articles and gaining some experience writing for a news website and we were more than happy to help.
English A Level lecturer Alison Doran said: “We are extremely grateful to The Bangor Aye for agreeing to support Chloe in this venture. She will undoubtedly benefit greatly from collaborating with an established news website, and I’m looking forward to seeing her work on the screen.”
Chloe added: “I thought that writing for a local news service would give me the chance to improve my English skills and gain some valuable experience at the same time. The Bangor Aye is incredibly popular, and I can’t wait to write my first piece.”
Established in 2017, The Bangor Aye is an independent online news and information service for the city of Bangor in North Wales, delivering factual and unbiased news about the city via the website, which now attracts between 60,000 – 100,00 website page views every month.
