A huge breakfast bap that weighs 3/4 of a kilo and has a massive 1,740 calories is now available at Morrisons café in Bangor.
The Builders Big Breakfast Butty, which costs £5, is packed with the main ingredients of the café’s cooked big breakfast essentials including bacon, hash browns, sausages, baked beans, mushrooms, egg and tomato.
Morrisons café team thought of the idea after customers commented they didn’t always have enough time to sit down and enjoy the ‘Big Breakfast’ so now they can enjoy the 10 item breakfast on the go.
The biggest challenge faced by the foodmakers was to find a bap big enough to hold the feast, eventually finding a extra-large seven-inch bap that was up to the task of holding it all together.
The Builders Big Breakfast Butty includes:
Two rashers of back bacon
Two hash browns
Two pork sausages
Baked beans
Mushrooms
Fried egg
Grilled tomato
Builders Big Breakfast Butty is available in Morrisons café daily between 8am-3pm. A vegetarian option is also available.
