A man has been arrested following an incident in Bangor during the early hours of Sunday 8 February.
Shortly after 3am, officers on routine patrol discovered an unconscious man on the city’s High Street. Emergency services attended the scene, and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.
A 19-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail with conditions while enquiries continue.
District Inspector Jamie Owens has appealed for information, urging anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have relevant footage to come forward.
