Wrexham Lager is honoured to be the main sponsor of the historic military parade taking place in Bangor on Thursday 29th May 2025, commemorating the 1,500th anniversary of the founding of Bangor. This landmark event will celebrate the city’s deep-rooted military and cultural heritage, with the presence of local regiments, veterans, civic leaders, and community members.

Parade Schedule:
11.30 am: Parade commences at the War Memorial, Glanrafon.
12.00 pm: Formal salute at the Town Clock.
12.00 pm: Lowpass Flyover from RAF Valley (Weather Permitting).
12.30 pm: Parade concludes at Storiel playing fields.
The parade will feature nearly 200 serving soldiers and airmen from RAF Valley, veterans, and cadets from bases across the UK. Highlights include a planned low-pass flyover by RAF Valley aircraft (weather permitting), the Royal Welsh’s Regimental Goat leading the procession, and performances by the Army Band from Catterick.
Following the parade, festivities will continue with a Family Fun Day at Tan y Fynwent and outside Storiel, offering entertainment and activities for all ages.
