A unique sporting event is set to take place on Saturday, 5th April, as Bangor Cricket Club hosts Bangor Cricket Club from Northern Ireland for a friendly match. The game will be played at Bangor Cricket Club on Llyndygai Road, beginning at 1pm and running until 7pm.

This special fixture has been arranged in conjunction with the Bangors Across the World exhibition at Storiel, part of Bangor’s 1500-year celebrations. The Northern Irish team will arrive via ferry on Saturday morning and will stay in the city until Sunday lunchtime.

Admission to the match is free, with food and a bar available to purchase throughout the day. The Mayor of Bangor, Cllr Gareth Parry, will be in attendance to welcome the visiting team and mark the occasion.
