Bangor band CELAVI’s brand-new Welsh language track ‘NEB ARALL’ is to be played on BBC Radio 1!

 

‘NEB ARALL’ (NOBODY ELSE) by CELAVI – a metal | nu-metal | goth band from Bangor, will be played on BBC Radio 1, on the radio show ‘BBC Introducing Rock’ with Alyx Holcombe.
The song will be played from 1am onwards, Tuesday morning, 4th July on the national station.

NEB ARALL’ was released on Friday, 30th June on the independent label MERAKI, and the track has already received support from Adam Walton on BBC Introducing in Wales on BBC Radio Wales. The band are delighted with the huge news and can’t wait to hear their track on BBC Radio 1.

CELAVI band members Gwion and Sarah, are influenced by industrial | electro and rock – bringing a new sound to metal. The heavy guitar driven sound of their music is dramatically
contrasted by Sarah’s soft and delicate voice which compliments their music and makes them stand out from the crowd.

Flying the flag for Welsh metal, CELAVI have over a million streams internationally and have been supported by Amazon Music, being added to Amazon Music’s ‘Best New Bands’ editorial playlist and ‘Breakthrough Rock’ editorial playlist, while receiving support by BBC Introducing on BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing in Wales.

CELAVI’s debut Welsh language release ‘DYMA FI’’ (February 2023) was chosen as ‘Track of the Week’ on BBC Radio Cymru, and the band were described by BBC Radio Cymru as ‘the
loudest thing to come from North Wales’.

‘NEB ARALL’ is a high-energy, nu-metal, goth track all about knowing your self-worth. It’s an empowering main  character anthem, and a reminder that some people will never see your worth and that’s ok. It’s a note to be your own main character, to be you, and to turn this track up loud.

CELAVI will release their debut album ‘DOLOREM’ on the 28 July, with the launch of their album and a live performance at HMV Cardiff on the 29th July.
