The youngest of King Triton’s daughters, Ariel is a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. Longing to find out more about the world beyond the sea, Ariel visits the surface and falls for the dashing Prince Eric. Following her heart, she makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to experience life on land.

THE LITTLE MERMAID contains several sequences with flashing lights that may affect those who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or have other photo sensitivities.

Beau is Afraid (18)

12 + 14 June

A paranoid man embarks on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother in this bold and ingeniously depraved new film by writer/director of Hereditary and Midsommar Ari Aster.

ROH Live: Il Trovatore (12A)

Tuesday 13 June, 7.15pm

Adeele Thomas’s energetic staging sets Verdi’s tale in a Hieronymus Bosch inspired universe of medieval superstition. On the podium, Antonio Pappano conducts Verdi’s dramatic score.

NT Live Fleabag (15)

Thursday 15 June, 7pm

Sunday 18 June, 2pm

Written and performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve) and directed by Vicky Jones, Fleabag is a rip-roaring look at some sort of woman living her sort of life. Following a box-office record-breaking run in cinemas in 2019, the one-woman show returns to the Byre’s screen this summer.

Fleabag may seem oversexed, emotionally unfiltered and self-obsessed, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. With family and friendships under strain and a guinea pig café struggling to keep afloat, Fleabag suddenly finds herself with nothing to lose.

The hilarious, award-winning play that inspired the BBC’s hit TV series Fleabag was filmed live on stage in London’s West End in 2019.

Theatr Bryn Terfel

Ballet Cymru Little Red Riding Hood & The Three Little Pigs

From Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes

Friday 16 June 7.30pm

Saturday 17 June 2pm (relaxed performance)

The most popular storyteller in the world, Roald Dahl, set to music by outstanding composer Paul Patterson and danced by the incomparable Ballet Cymru.

Featuring glorious costumes, amazing dancing, and stunning video projections, this laugh out loud production was a huge hit for Ballet Cymru in 2016 and is an exquisite classical ballet for adults and kids alike.

Ballet Cymru return to its roots as a premiere Welsh story telling ballet company with innovative design and choreography showcasing amazing dancers from Wales and around the world. Roald Dahl’s Welsh connections are well known, and Ballet Cymru continue to celebrate in style the amazingly rich cultural heritage of Wales.

The company’s reputation for presenting stunning evenings of dance continues to grow following hugely successful tours of DREAM and GISELLE in 2021 and 2022.

If you see on one ballet in 2023 make it this one.

Dance for Parkinson’s classes are fun and informal.

Dance has been proven to develop confidence and strength, whilst temporarily relieving some participants of symptoms in everyday life. Classes are creative and promote feelings of freedom from the physical and social constraints of having Parkinson’s.

We are an Affiliated hub of English National Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s programme.

Classes are 90 minutes long, and all you’ll need is a chair.

English National Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s programme has been running since 2008. We are proud to be part of the Dance for PD membership, to support Dance for Parkinson’s Partnership and People Dancing and to have an affiliation with Parkinson’s UK. ENB’s national Dance for Parkinson’s programme enjoys close links with Parkinson’s UK and the European Parkinson’s Disease Association EPDA.
