The Welsh Blood Service have sent a message of thanks following recent blood donation sessions at Bangor University.
109 donations were collected and a fantastic 28 new donors attended the sessions, following an appeal for donors via The Bangor Aye.
One donation can potentially save up to 3 lives, that’s an amazing 327 lives saved thanks to the kindness of people in the local community.
A spokesperson for the Welsh Blood Service said: “These numbers would be a great result during more ‘normal’ times, but to achieve this in the middle of the circumstances we are in at the moment is really amazing and is all down to being able to reach the community with the information in the right way. We couldn’t do this without your support.
“Thanks to everyone who came along to donate blood at Bangor University last week…you are all lifesavers!”
