The Management Centre in Bangor provides the perfect venue for any occasion, from conferencing or a corporate event, to weddings and christenings.
Set in a beautiful Grade II listed Edwardian building just 0.6 miles from Bangor Station, the Management Centre also offers a 4 Star, 56 en-suite stylish guest accommodation along with a Restaurant and Costa Coffee Shop.
Accommodation
The range of guest bedrooms include single, twin, double and executive and all come equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace. All guest bedrooms are en-suite with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, digital flat screen televisions and ample free car parking spaces available.
Cooked breakfasts are served daily, with lighter options also available. The coffee shop offers a range of light lunches and fresh pastries, and evening meals are served in Restaurant 1884.
With scenic views across to the Isle of Anglesey, The Management Centre is just a 15-minute drive from Snowdonia National Park. There is free on-site parking, and Llandudno is within a 30-minute drive.
Conference, Events & Room Hire
The Management Centre offers the perfect backdrop to any meeting, conference or corporate event.
The in-house catering and events team offer bespoke packages to suit all, from private dining for executive lunches to evening events for 100 plus.
The meeting and conference rooms are available on a daily basis and can accommodate meeting sizes of up to 50 delegates and are equipped with excellent IT and audio-visual facilities.
For larger events the Hugh Owen Hall is available, which can accommodate up to 150 delegates.

Costa Coffee Shop
Enjoy a Costa Coffee in the prestigious Hugh Owen Hall. Open Monday-Friday for light bites, soup of the day, ciabattas, fresh filled sandwiches, cakes and pastries as well as a selection of freshly brewed coffee and speciality teas.
The Coffee Shop is offers a comprehensive coffee menu and is the ideal place for informal meetings or to catch up with friends or colleagues.
1884 Restaurant
Just as its menu capitalises on the range of fantastic local produce, Restaurant 1884 certainly makes the most of the stunning location, with views across the Menai Strait to the Isle of Anglesey.
Lunchtime
1884 is open for lunch from 12–3pm. The lunch menu includes good quality, freshly produced local food, with a selection of hot dishes as well as Ciabattas, Jacket potatoes and wraps.
Evening
At the end of a long day there is little that can beat fresh local food, a glass of fine wine and an Island sunset. Even the most dedicated will find themselves winding down for a moment or two at 1884.
A set menu can also be offered, tailored to your needs and dietary requirements.
Group bookings and private dinners
The 1884 restaurant is available for group bookings for up to 50 delegates, with private dining available for parties of up to 10. Larger dinners can also be served in Hugh Owen Hall, the perfect setting for a formal dinner, conference or awards evening.

Why not visit our contemporary Bar 1884 where you can enjoy a relaxing drink, a glass of fine wine or a light bar snack whilst enjoying stunning views of the isle of Anglesey. Available for use by our overnight guests, daytime visitors to the Centre as well as members of Bangor University Business Club and their guests, the Lounge Bar offers a perfect environment for networking, social occasions and special events.

Overlooking the Menai Strait and Isle of Anglesey, Hugh Owen Hall provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding. The historic Grade II listed venue has been sensitively restored offering plenty of character and the perfect venue for your special day.
The beautiful Menai Suite is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies for up to 100 guests and Hugh Owen Hall caters for wedding receptions for up to 120. Following your perfect wedding day, you and your guests can enjoy a relaxing stay in the collection of 56 en-suite bedrooms.
