The BBC Wales’ inflatable bucket hat has hit the road and is visiting a host of locations across the country, including Bangor, with fans encouraged to come along and take a selfie!
The bucket hat has become a symbol of Welsh footballing culture. Sporting the iconic yellow, red and green colours, the giant replica will be placed outside Pontio, with Wales just two weeks away from competing in their first World Cup since 1958.
The tour is part of BBC Cymru Wales’ World Cup campaign, with programmes across all platforms from iPlayer, Sounds, Sport and lots more to celebrate and support Wales at the World Cup.
Fans who want to see the inflatable bucket hat can visit Pontio in Bangor, on Saturday 12 November from 3pm
Pontio will also host a special concert this evening: ‘Noson Y Wal Goch’ with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales performing terrace favourites and anthems. Guests encouraged to come dressed in red for the occasion. Joining the orchestra will be Ifan Pritchard of popular Welsh band Gwilym and singer songwriter Bronwen Lewis.
