Heavy rain disrupts trains between Bangor and Holyhead

Heavy rain has flooded the railway between Bangor and Holyhead resulting in some lines being blocked.

As a result of this, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 19:00hrs this evening, Friday 29 October.

Alternative travel advice

Rail replacement buses are currently in operation between Bangor and Holyhead, both Avanti West Coast and Transport for Wales tickets will be accepted on these buses.
