Entries are now open for the 2018 Bangor 10k & Half Marathon, which will be held on 6th October 2018, the popular race was sold out for 2017, with over 600 runners taking part.
There are already a number of registrations, including runners from all parts of the UK and two runners from Oslo in Norway have registered.
This race starts and finishes in the city centre and goes out to the coastline, in to Penrhyn Castle Estate then back to and along the Garth Pier over the Menai Straits, taking in views of Anglesey, Snowdonia and the surrounding North Wales coastline, then back to the finish in the city centre.
The cost for the 10k is £20 (Affiliated) £22 (Unaffiliated) (you must be at least 15 years old on race day)
The cost for the Half Marathon is £30 (Affiliated) £32 (Unaffiliated) (You must be at least 17 years old on race day)
Both races include a Medal and T-Shirt
There is also a ‘Fun Run’ (entry on the day) for children from the clock to the ‘Skerries’ pub and back, approx 1/2 mile, cost is £3 and includes a Medal for all finishers.
