The Casual Citizen, a fan based Podcast, has interviewed Bangor City’s Director of football Stephen Vaughan Jnr, who has given his views on the sudden departure of manager Craig Harrison and the future ambitions for the club.

In a candid interview, Vaughan Jnr describes his shock at the decision of Harrison to leave Bangor after just 9 games into the league season, he also said there is a ‘massive budget’ for the Cymru Alliance League and the team have ‘under achieved‘.

Vaughan Jnr said there are a number of people interested in the vacant managers job and the club are looking for someone with the UEFA ‘A’ coaches license (required for the Welsh Premier League) but also someone who can bring the best out of the players. He also describes how the license failure last season was devastating for the club and really hurts, and he believes Bangor’s accounts read as good as any other team in the league.

Later in the interview Vaughan Jnr said: “If someone wanted to come and invest in the club and buy Vaughan Sports Management (VSM) shares, the phones switched on, we’ll do a deal for them to buy the club.”

Vaughan added: “Everyone’s entitled to an opinion but we’re just trying to do the best for the club.”
