Patrick’s Bar in Bangor has been included in the Good Beer Guide for 2018.
The Good Beer Guide is a book published annually by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) listing what it considers to be the best cask ale outlets (pubs, clubs, and off licences) in the United Kingdom, the guide was first published in 1972 and is now in it’s 45th year.
A number of Welsh pubs are included in the guide but Patrick’s is the only one in Bangor. The Irish themed bar in Upper Bangor has now been part of Bangor’s heritage for nearly twenty years, serving quality traditional beer and ales, along with your everyday bitters and lagers, and bottled beers, and not forgetting a decent pint of Guinness too!
Enjoyed by students and locals alike, Patrick’s Bar was also the winner of community pub of the year Anglesey & Gwynedd in 2017
