A local man and woman have been arrested by North Wales Police for being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs, after search warrants were executed in Maesgeirchen, Bangor, this morning, Tuesday 9th October.

Police officers executed the warrants following intelligence they had received and thanked members of the local community for their support. Detective Inspector Andrew Gibson said: “We want to reassure the people of Bangor that we are taking positive action. By conducting these warrants our aim is to cause disruption to the trade in illegal drugs across the area.”

He added: “These types of warrants would not be possible without the support and assistance of the local communities. I appeal to anyone with information linked to drugs supply of any kind to make contact with us. We will always treat any information in the upmost confidence.”
