Bangor City manager Kevin Nicholson and his assistant Gary Taylor Fletcher are both set to leave the club in the next few weeks.

Nicholson, who’s current contract runs out on 22nd May 2018, has had a successful season at the club finishing second in the Welsh Premier League and taking the club to the semi-final of the Welsh Cup.

Taylor Fletcher, who’s current contract ends on 30th June, has been at the Club for 18 months and played a huge role in the club. A real fans favourite he has provided some excellent performances on the pitch as well as using his experience off it to flourish in his first senior coaching role.

Director Of Football Stephen Vaughan Jr said: “I would like to thank both Kev and Gary for all there hard work since being at the Club. We achieved the goals we set out and they leave the Club knowing we where last season the second best team in the WPL.

“Together we had built an excellent squad and have made great progress over a short period of time. With the news at the end of the season that we would not be granted a tier 1 WPL licence for 2018-2019 it was agreed mutually that we would part our ways.”

A press conference has been arrnaged for 14:00 on Thursday afternoon where Bangor City will announce the new management team for the upcoming season.
