Llandudno FC have announced they have signed Bangor City forward Les Davies. He will join the Welsh Premier relegation strugglers with immediate effect and should be available for their game against Llanelli on Saturday.

The fans favourite re-signed for Bangor in May having enjoyed two previous spells at Bangor, between 2003–05 and 2007–15, making 275 appearances and scoring 88 goals, winning three Welsh Cups and the Welsh premier title. Les has also enjoyed spells at Porthmadog, Connah’s Quay and Bala.

Davies has also represented Wales at U18 and U21 level and also as a semi-professional for the Welsh U23 team.

In 2012 Les Davies was nominated for the UEFA Player of the Year award with the likes of Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Cristiano Ronaldo on the 32 name shortlist. The list was drawn up by one selected journalist from each UEFA member country voting for their five best players, and a single nomination form a local sports journalist was enough to earn Davies a place nominations list.
