Storiel in Bangor have arranged a series of guided tours of the museum and art gallery every Thursday over the summer holidays. The tours will be held by the ‘Friends of Storiel’ which includes staff and volunteers.

The Tours will take place every Thursday at 2pm, starting on 26 July until mid-September.

The tour starts at Storiel’s reception desk and will last between half an hour to an hour. This is a unique chance to learn about Storiel’s collections by experts. There will be no charge for the tours but a donation will be gratefully received.

Along with more general talks about the Storiel collections, there will be some more specific tours that will concentrate on archaeological collections.

Following the tour tea and cake is available in the Storiel café for the special price of £4.95.

The first tour will be led by the archaeologist Frances Llewelyn at 2pm on Thursday, 26 July.
