Gwyn Merion Roberts, the director of Menai Vehicle Solutions Limited, a former car dealership in Bangor, has been charged with 25 counts of fraud.
The business, which was based in Parc Menai, went into liquidation in October 2015, owing at least £1,250,000 to customers and other creditors.
An investigation by the Insolvency Service concluded that the car dealership failed to provide vehicles to customers who had paid for them and also failed to pay customers for vehicles sold on their behalf. Roberts was subsequently disqualified from running a business for 10 years by the Insolvency Service.
Roberts is due to appear before Llandudno Magistrates court on 22nd November.
