Inconsiderate fly-tippers left piles of rubbish in bin bags and plastic boxes next to Penrhosgarnedd Football Club’s pitch at Treborth in Bangor, which then had to be cleared away by club officials.
The rotting rubbish also included old clothes and toys, much to the annoyance of club officials who are working hard to improve the facilities for local youngsters.
A post of the club’s Facebook page read: “So disheartening to see such blatant disrespect when the players, parents, coaches and committee are struggling to raise funds to pay for much needed improvements to the pitch, parking area and changing room.”
The rubbish which was dumped at the site last week has since been cleared away by club officials.
Penrhosgarnedd Football Club is for players aged 6 – 16 living in Bangor and the surrounding areas.
