Award winning estate agent, Dafydd Hardy, has announced that it has acquired Smith & Wypler Limited as part of its growth plans and has also announced its new business strategy.
Smith & Wypler, based in Llandudno, was established 16 years ago and has been run by husband & wife team Jenny & Steven Wypler. The independent estate agent is well known to those in the local area and has been renowned for its excellent customer service.
Dafydd Hardy has known Jenny for many years and when the time came to retire, they only had one person in mind. Jenny said: “We are delighted that Dafydd Hardy is acquiring our business after our decision to retire. Both companies share the same fundamental values of customer service with an honest, reliable and professional service at all times.”
Steve Wypler added: “We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our customers, contractors, suppliers, local businesses and staff for all their continued support over the years.”
This acquisition will see all the staff retained and the business will begin to relocate very soon; eventually trading under the Dafydd Hardy name. It adds a significant number of managed properties to Dafydd Hardy portfolio, which will continue to be managed by the existing team in Llandudno with support from other Dafydd Hardy offices.

As part of the new strategy Dafydd Hardy also merging their Anglesey offices to form a central Hub in Llangefni. Not only is Llangefni geographically well positioned but it’s also a major employment, shopping and business location for the island. This merger will see all staff retained and relocated within the business.
