Clwb Nofio Bangor Swimming Club enjoyed medal success at the recent Swim Wales Easter Nationals Gala in Swansea. Nine swimmers represented Bangor at the Championships, with Marcus Maniago winning six medals.

Marcus, 12, won two Gold medals (200 metre breaststroke & 1500 metre freestyle), two Silver medals (400 metre individual medley & 100 metre breaststroke) and two Bronze Medals (50 metre breaststroke & 200 metre individual medley).

In the 15–16 year age group category, Hannah MacLennan collected Bronze in the 50 metre backstroke, and in the 13-14 year age group, Pierre Gutierrez picked up a Bronze medal in the 100 meter breaststroke.

The other swimmers to represent Bangor were Cerys Goggin, Alex Hummel, Ceri Jones, Lucy McGrath, Sian Snyman and Ellen Torrington.
