Bangor will celebrate St David’s Day with a parade through the city centre on Saturday, 2 March 2019.
The celebration is a collaboration between Menter Iaith Bangor, Penrhyn Castle, Storiel, Capel Berea Newydd, Learn Welsh North West and Bangor Cathedral.
The parade will start from the car park opposite Cube nightclub at 12.30pm. The procession will be lead by Menai Bridge Brass Band and will also include over 30 Welsh flags.
Making its way up the High Street the parade will stop by Bangor Clock to sing Calon Lân with the crowd.
After the singing, the parade will then proceed up the High Street towards Bangor Cathedral and finishing at Storiel, where there will be a family show about Owain Glyndŵr at 1.30pm.
The event is free and everyone is welcome to attend and join in the celebration.
