Bangor Cathedral opens it’s doors this Saturday, 10th November, for a special event to celebrate the diversity of our great city of Bangor.

The event is free to attend and will be a celebration of language, art, dance, music, food and culture in a landmark building in the centre of the city.

This will be a great event for all the family, you are invited to come and enjoy Welsh story time with a pop-up library, Chinese and Japanese music and dance, a traditional tea ceremony, have a go on a potters wheel and try your hand at weaving.

You can then sit and relax with tea and cake from a pop-up cafe. This will be a day for all the family enjoy.

After the celebration event, the cathedral will hold a vigil for peace in the Lady Chapel for one hour starting at 1.30pm, with readings and poems, lighting of candles and a time of silence, as we begin a weekend of remembering.
